Adana Afong is a Trinidadian Author/Poet of the book “The Light Within” which is a collection of inspirational poems. She now resides in the County of Surrey, United Kingdom since 2006. Adana writes under the pseudonym AdanaKaz_Poetry. You can find more of her poems in Poetry 365 October 2020 to March 2021 editions.
Adana started writing inspirational poetry at a young age. The death of Adana’s father in 2019 and the Global pandemic of 2020 motivated her to embark on a self-publishing journey of sharing her poetry with the world and positively giving back. Adana uses her poetry to inspire humanity by conveying messages on life by uplifting others.
When not writing, Adana loves spending time in the outdoors and capturing beautiful photos of her surroundings. She also guides others through her Psychotherapy Practice. Hopefully in the future she can return to travelling and visit the next country on her bucket list with her husband. If ever she is in Trinidad and Tobago, you will always find her on the beach or playing “All Fours” a famous Trini card game with her friends and family or touring the island.
